Ohh… Zappy is so exited about going to visit our dear friend Mike in Long Beach California. Mike is not only a great artist but also an extremely nice guy…so if you don’t know him yet you better visit his blog…By the way, he is the one that drove us all into this trading addiction…and I thank him for that! In return to this postcard I’m getting a great “Zebra Dancer” one…can’t wait to have it!

Mike no es solo un artista estupendo, sino que también es una persona súper encantadora…así que si aun no lo conocen les recomiendo visiten su blog…Además, el es quien nos introdujo en esto de los intercambios, y se lo agradezco! JUMP OF HAPPINESS

I'm jumping of joy because i received my first ATCs..from Mike, Pati, Maryam and Bearuh...I'm soooooooo happy...not only because the cards are extremly wonderful...but because you guys are soooo great!...i'm so glad i met you! The image is a postcard i just did...the girl is me...this is my jump of joy! and also my first attemp of self portrait...i know it needs improvemt...but i think she really looks like me...and my mom and brother agree..haha (original colors are much more vivid...but this is the best i could get after scanning)

Monday 10, Sept ...today i received these wonderful cards from Woody Miller , his ATC is so great... love it! and i was surprised by three lovely postcards of his own design...2 of them with recipes!...thanks a lot!...

TO EMILIA from Beirut

This is the postcard I did to exechange with Emilia Yusof...hope she likes it, I had not drawn in such a long time...i surely need more practice, but i guess it's a good begining...

The character is standing in Beirut Central Distric, the most important touristic area of Beirut, and which is actually passing through a very diffucult time due to political conflicts... the character is wearing a Tarboush and drinking milk from a container resembling the traditional nargileh (90% of lebanese smoke nargileh...that is why if the character wanted to take a lebanese pose he needed a nargileh) but he is not smoking actually... just pretending haha ;)

I liked drawing postcards...hope to do some more soon!
