MAIL

I’ve received some lovely atcs and gifts the last couple of days, which I was not able to post before due to my camera’s critic situation. Right now the camera is still not so well, but at least I was able to take some pictures / Desde ya hace varios días he estado recibiendo varias tarjeticas y regalos muy lindos, los cuales no había publicado por culpa de la crítica situación de mi cámara. Ahora mi cámara sigue mal, pero al menos pude tomar unas cuantas fotos:

DUCK THEME ATCs

Some days ago I received a little envelope full of great mini art pieces...yes, some new ATCs!.. this time corresponding to the duck theme exchange hosted by my friend Mike R Baker, and these are the wonderful duck cards I got:

I just have to say that these scans don’t do the pieces justice, they are really professional and lovely…a very stunning work! Thank you so much for these great cards!...(you can see my duck atcs here)

MAILBOX

It had been a long time without finding anything in my mailbox; a complete week, that’s too much for me to stand, but this week at last I found some great ATCs and a “charming” surprise. The cute baby fairy in the lower image is from my friend Rawini, I’ve loved her work since the first time I saw it in IF, its so magical!, I’m so glad we could trade. Then is “loud George” from Colleen M. Madden …this is the first one she send me, but I got lost and found my mailbox after a month long trip…poor boy! I’m so glad I finally came because this card is even better than the one she sent later – and that one was great! Another card that got lost is my brownies atc, from my friend JC, someone must have been very hungry! But she sent me another sweet card instead! And sweet also is the little fairy ...isn’t she? I think it’s a cutie! + She sent me “charming” surprises; look the wonderful charm! …she remembered how much I liked one she did for MA, and she sent me one!...that’s a lot y dear JC! You are so sweet!

Thanks a lot for such cuties! Love your work...hope we can trade again soon!

COFFEE-THEME GROUP TRADE

At Monday Artday ATC we have group trades. Coffee was the theme for the first one, hosted by JC, who did an incredible work …we thank her for that! Now, want to know more about it? It’s simple; every one sends three cards and receives other three in return...you don’t choose what you get; it’s a surprise...lot of fun! These are the awesome cards I got, clock wise:

- “I Love ATCs” by JC, limited-edition print-out by the host of the trade, a lovely souvenir, I love the idea!

- “Coffee Bean” by Karin Nichols, the original card is great, very neat with a lot of texture and spark that can’t be seen in the digital image. This is the first card I get from Karin and hope we can trade again very soon.

- “Coffea Canephora” by Emilia Yusof, this is not the first card I get from her, but every time I see one of her cards I’m amazed…what a great work! Very pro!

- “Birth of Venus Coffee Mug” by JC, from her "favourite artists coffee mug" series. I love Botticelli, and now I love my great mug card too! JC’s got lovely series of cards, and I’m so lucky to have some of them…and hope I’ll have some more very soon!

I hope the new owners of my cards are as happy as I am with these cuties. Thank you all…It feels so great to trade with such talented –and nice – artists…you are great!

These are some of the ATCs I've done this week, most of these are now in their way to their new homes...hope they get there sound and safe. I really enjoy drawing these small pieces...it has become an addiction!..so much fun!

WEEKLY DOSE OF ATCs RECEIVED!

As you can see I’ve received awesome ATCs this week too…almost one daily…I guess what I’m loving the best about going everyday to work is checking the mailbox!

The cute “Kitten in Wool Hat” is from Eslina, from Singapore, she draws lovely kitties…mainly her cute cat Ocean. The “Zari Bear” is from Verna, who does great collage cards, she asked me to do a bee queen…so I did the “Queen Beeva I”, then came all other beeva queens. The adorable singing dog “Audition” is from Monica Carnesi, I've loved all her IF entries since I first visited her blog , so it was a real pleasure her trading with me!

The shy “Nudie Skeleton” is from Jeff Brame, I really didn’t know which of his awesome cards to choose …but he did an excellent choice! And finally, but not least, the original “Orange Mermaid” from Brian Gubicza, his collage cards are really cool!

It's such a pleasure to receive these wonderful mini art pieces from such talented artists!

Emilia, actually she sent the owl especially for my mother – my mom loves owls and she was amazed with this one – We both thank you Emilia! You are so nice! / The cute little guy, Mr. Trek, and the pretty girl seating in the lovely sofa are from Ms. Froggie…I loved these too! Thank you!

I’ve received more ATC’s…all very cute, the real ones are a lot better than the photo, I really need to get a new camera! – Me han llegado nuevas tarjetitas…todas muy lindas, en persona son mucho mas bonitas que en la foto, de verdad necesito nueva camara!

These are the most recent ones, the cute owl is from Roberta Baird and it flew all its way from USA…isn’t it lovely? / The happy girl jumping over the pile of leaves and the lucky bamboos are form JC, she is got a lot of ATCs series…all very original / The Lovely fairy if from Jo Schukar , you must see the real one…the wings and star are in 3D…it’s sparkly, really lovely.

The lovely thumb guy with the “Venezuelan hat” is Left Godo; this cute image is from Pati (along with red maple leaf; Pati is from Venezuela but is actually living in Canada) / the lovely bird standing on the cupcake is from Zime….isn’t it sweet? ...it flew all the way long form Argentine / The set of 6 lovely cards in the back is from Irisz Agocs, from Hungary, these are wonderful and delicate…I also loved her representation cards, the blue little ones, very original!

JUMP OF HAPPINESS

I'm jumping of joy because i received my first ATCs..from Mike, Pati, Maryam and Bearuh...I'm soooooooo happy...not only because the cards are extremly wonderful...but because you guys are soooo great!...i'm so glad i met you! The image is a postcard i just did...the girl is me...this is my jump of joy! and also my first attemp of self portrait...i know it needs improvemt...but i think she really looks like me...and my mom and brother agree..haha (original colors are much more vivid...but this is the best i could get after scanning)

Monday 10, Sept ...today i received these wonderful cards from Woody Miller , his ATC is so great... love it! and i was surprised by three lovely postcards of his own design...2 of them with recipes!...thanks a lot!...
