VECTOR + MEME COTILLA

100% vector bee! At last I've downloaded the Adobe Illustrator and it doesn’t seem too difficult to manage; I think I’ll just need a good tutorial and some time to practice. In the meantime, here is this little bee, my first attempt …not so bad no?! (do you know where can I download a simple tutorial? + thanks) / 100% vector puro! Por fin baje el Adobe Illustrator y no parece ser muy difícil de utilizar; creo lo único que necesitare es un buen tutorial y tiempo para practicar. Mientras tanto aquí está esta abejita, mi primer intento…no esta tan mal no!? (saben donde puedo bajar un tutorial simple y bueno? + 1000 gracias)

I’ve been tagged by atomicvelvetsigh, Tizzalicious, and Sam to write 7 weird and not so weird facts about me. As I was tagged for this meme not long ago, I’m simply going to point out 7 words about me…So, I’m:

1. Hesitant: it’s so hard for me to make decisions…even the simplest ones.
2. Sweet: maybe that’s why I’ve been stung by bees so many times.
3. Coward: I’m scared of many things; mainly explosions and car accidents. Death itself isn’t what scares me, but the suffering that may accompany it.
4. Messy: you have to see all the clutter on my workspace …sure I organize everything but order doesn’t last long.
5. Dreamy: I day-dream a lot; I guess I dream more awake than asleep.
6. Sentimental: animated films can make me cry… and I’m not talking about just a tear or two.
7. Shy: that makes most people think I’m standoffish and unsympathetic, but those who know me well can prove that I’m really nice.

LOVE AND PEACE MEME

Today we celebrate St Valentine’s Day; a holiday named after various early Christian who became models of selfless love surviving in cruel circumstances. Yet nowadays, this holiday is mainly associated with romantic love; it is just a day to spend on chocolates, flowers, trips, lingerie, and romantic dates…I think it’s time we forget about this meaningless stuff to focus on the true meaning of this day; love, peace and global unity.

Today, my little dove friend and I want to collaborate in spreading some love to the world, and it’d be great if you could team up with us too! The rules are simple:

5 RANDOM THINGS

I was tagged by my friends JC, from JC’s Coffeehouse Art, and Eslina, from Ocean and me, to tell 5 random things about me. So, here they come:

No.1: this is weird but when I was born the Dr. told my mom that I had come with a dinning set! Why? Well, I was born having 4 teeth, 2 up and 2 down!

No.2: I have a Dino character (Flintstones) since I was less than a year old. When I came to Lebanon (I was 15 years old then), a soldier from the Syrian army at the airport was going to open in up with a knife… I began crying so much, that they had to leave him alone!

No.3: Every time I need advise on an important issue I ask my brother, he is four years younger than me but he is very mature and wise (I’m not being subjective).

No.4: I like to wear white and black, sometimes I wear other colors too, what I never use is gold accessories, I don’t know why but I don’t like gold… so glasses, earrings, watch…everything must be silver or chrome!

No.5: I get scared easily; of storms, of crossing the street (you should take into consideration that people here drive like crazy)…so you may imagine how I get when not so normal things happen in such a conflictive country as this.
