A little bit weird blanket illustration; I guess the approach may be named “Surreal Cartoon-ism”. Surreal for the combination of juxtaposing planes and dimensions, and Cartoon-ism as it began as a simple dog catches cat illo. The dog tied some blankets together and jumped down the window to catch the kitty, a strong wind blew him away and now he’s afraid to go down, now, the kitty is mocking him, the house is a stuffed one and comes out from the center of a blanket’s motif…yep…the whole thing takes place over a bed and the sun and cloud are a pair of cushions.
* I’m posting this illo with some delay as we’ve been without electricity during the night, which is the only time I get to draw and visit blogs, and I’m afraid this is going be happening on a regular basis…hope I’m wrong!

I like this - it is quite appealing as a pattern as well as an illustration. My favourite part is the button-flower.

Wonderful graphic style! I guess I'm just a sucker for black and white! Fun stuff!
great idea, great graphic style... the fact that its just black and white and busy, makes the viewer search for areas to rest ones eyes... but you tend to direct the search with your lines... very well done :)
I love this composition, the house distorsion, the landscape perspective and the energetic contrast of black and white! Very nice concept!
Love it! Wish I could send some extra electricity your way!

Beautiful! I love the surrealism of it! And I really like that this is scanned right out of a sketchbook :)
