This is the postcard I did to exechange with Emilia Yusof...hope she likes it, I had not drawn in such a long time...i surely need more practice, but i guess it's a good begining...
The character is standing in Beirut Central Distric, the most important touristic area of Beirut, and which is actually passing through a very diffucult time due to political conflicts... the character is wearing a Tarboush and drinking milk from a container resembling the traditional nargileh (90% of lebanese smoke nargileh...that is why if the character wanted to take a lebanese pose he needed a nargileh) but he is not smoking actually... just pretending haha ;)
I liked drawing postcards...hope to do some more soon!

I enjoy your style, mix of cartoonish with obviously a strong sense of architecture and landscape / cityscape etc- it really puts me in the scene. Also, your color choices with the black, pinks and white are fresh and original.
Thanks for the kind comments over at my blog!
WOW!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
